Enhanced living through environmentally friendly energy solutions.

Roof Mounted

Most residental PV systems are roof mounted. Systems can be comprised of solar panels on existing roofs or can be integrated into the roofs themselves. Integrated roofs are designed to integrate with asphalt and tile shingles. We have solutions for every application!

Ground Mounted

For residents with lots of space and good exposure, ground mounted installations may be your best bet. Most of the time, a ground mounted systems can be larger than a roof mounted systems and are great for hillsides, ranches and farms.

Trellis/Other

Trellis mounted, awning mounted and covered parking photovoltaic systems have become popular because they perform multiple functions and can be integrated into buildings materials. Protect yourself from rain and provide shade while producing energy from the sun!

Residential PV Systems

Modern solar systems available today are lightweight, strong and durable even in heavy hail conditions, and actually add to the value of your home.

Solar electric system can generate part or all of a typical family's daily electrical needs or even eliminate the electric bill entirely while providing pollution-free power. Systems can be easily mounted above roof tiles, asphalt shingles, concrete tiles and now even integrated into new and existing buildings. Additionally ground mounted systems can be affordable and are easy to install.

YOUR WORLD

America's demand for electricity has risen more than 60% in the past 27 years. Our dependence on coal, oil, and nuclear plants affect the future of us all, including our children, our grandchildren, and our world.

Installing a solar electric system can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than two tons annually and provide years of FREE electricity!

State Rebates & Federal Tax Credits

The California Solar Initiative offers cash incentives on solar systems - currently, $2.50 a watt for existing homes. California Solar Initiative incentives, combined with federal tax incentives helps to further shorter return on your investment.

Taxes and rebates will vary slightly for new constructions, but currently there is $2.50 per watt available, scheduled to decrease as program goals are met. The minimum system size eligible for an incentive is 1 kW. While systems sizes up to 5 MW are eligible to participate in the program, the maximum incentive provided under the CSI program is based on a system size no greater than 1 MW.

Net Metering

Net Energy Metering (NEM) is a program offered by SDG&E to customers installing photovoltaic, solar electric or wind generating systems. Through interconnection with SDG&E's power grid, SDG&E is able to measure the "net" difference between the energy generated by the customer and the energy purchased from SDG&E. The NEM program is a 12-month program that automatically renews at the end of each 12-month cycle. Under this program, residential customers need only pay the electric portion of their utility bill once every twelve months.

Site visits are necessary before quoting prices as many factors influence system design. Factors can include (but are not limited to) roof angle (pitch), roof size and location, type of roof, surrounding shading, and size of main breaker panels. Please have your electric consumption history (preferably from the last 12 months), available from your local utility company or by following this link (SDG&E only).

Estimates are always free. Please call 858-278-2300 for an appointment.
